The 78th dukrono celebrations of the holy Patriarch of the Apostolic See of Antioch, St. Elias-III, which was being observed here at Manjinikkara for the last one week

concluded with a Holy Tri-Mass led by His Beatitude the Catholcos Mor Baselios Thomas-I and assisted by Metropolitans Their Eminences Mor Irenios Paulose and Mor Anthonios Yaqu'b at 5.30 am at the Manjinikkara St. Stephen's Cathedral followed by a Holy Mass at 8.30 am by the Archbishop of Aleppo Mor Gregorios Yohanna Ibrahim at the St. Ignatius dayro church. Metropolitans Their Eminences Mor Dionysius Geevarghese, Mor Theodosius Mathews, Mor Milithios Yuhanon, Mor Athanasius Geevarghese and other metropolitans, Corepiscopas from Syria and Malankara, Monks from Syria and Malankara, Priests from Syria and Malankara, Deacons assisted. Thousands of faithful attended.

Earlier in the morning, the Senior most Metropolitan of Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, His Eminence Mor Dionysius Behnan Jajawi celebrated Holy Qurbono at Dayro church at 3.00 AM, assisted by Metropolitan Mor Osthatheos Matta Rohum, monks, priests and deacons. Later Metropolitans offered Dhoopa Prarthana at the Holy Tomb of St. Ignatius Elias-III. Thousands offered their prayers at the Holy Tomb. Manjinikkara and its environs was declared as a Festival Area by the Government of Kerala
